Today's Agent Skill: Cold Sales Outreach Email Sequence Builder

What It Does

Cold outreach still works if the emails are relevant and short. This skill builds a four- to six-touch email sequence for a specific customer segment, in your voice, using a value proposition the recipient actually cares about.

How It Works

The agent takes your ideal customer profile, your offer, past win-back emails or case studies, and generates a full sequence: opener, two follow-ups, a case-study touch, and a break-up email. Each email is under 90 words, references a specific pain point, and ends with a low-friction ask. It also flags which sending days and times fit your recipient's likely time zone.

How to Deploy It

Load the skill into Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or Windsurf. Feed it a segment CSV plus your last three winning sales emails as voice samples. Export the sequence into Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, or Apollo for actual sending. Never send from your primary domain — use a secondary domain warmed up with a tool like Warmup Inbox to protect deliverability.

## Description
Builds a 4-6 touch cold email sequence tailored to a specific customer segment, in the user's voice, with staggered send times.

## Trigger
Invoke when the user says "build a cold email sequence" or provides an ICP plus an offer.

## Input
- Ideal customer profile: role, industry, company size, geography
- Offer summary: what you sell, in one sentence
- Value proposition and 2-3 proof points (case studies, metrics)
- Voice samples: 2-3 previous emails that got replies
- Sequence length: default 5 touches over 21 days
- Sending domain constraints: e.g., avoid Friday afternoons

## Steps
1. Draft touch 1: opener — under 70 words, one specific observation about the recipient's role or company, one line about the offer, one ask (a 15-min call, a resource, a question).
2. Draft touch 2 (day 4): bump — 30 words, references touch 1, adds a fresh angle.
3. Draft touch 3 (day 8): proof point — 80 words, one customer story with a specific metric.
4. Draft touch 4 (day 14): pattern interrupt — a one-line question or a piece of relevant news.
5. Draft touch 5 (day 21): break-up — closes the loop, gives the recipient an easy "no."
6. Suggest send-day and send-time windows based o
